Just a quick tip (Since it took me a while to figure it out). In order to change the temperature of a scene using the Kelvin WB, 1. Set your WB to Kelvin 2. When in LV mode hit the function button below the smaller screen under the LCD screen 3. Push it once more until you see the K for Kelvin 4. Then use the top dial used for your shutter speed to control the temperature.

*DANG IT...as I'm writing this I don't have my camera in front of me (Or near me) so I'm thinking 'was it the aperture dial or shutter dial'...if I made a mistake, I will revise this.

It's even easier on the 7D. You just select 'K' by hitting the cleverly titled 'WB' button and then turn the dial to your preferred color temp.

Yup...that's what I'm missing from the 7D. But well worth the upgrade (I do photography as well and wanted to combine my 7D with D700...and with that is the 1dm4)
