I searched and didn't find a thread on this issue, but feel free to let me know if I missed. I shot an interview/performance piece on my new GH1 a week ago. I filmed it in the cameras highest quality which is 1920X1080 24P.
However when I brought it into Log and Transfer and transferred the clip, the end result it gave me is Apple Pro Res 422 1080 with a 29.97 framerate. Not only is this the incorrect framerate, but also its introducing interlacing.
If I look at the Import Settings on the Log and Transfer window in Final Cut the only settings available are Check boxes for toggling video and audio. Nothing to let me manually chance the framerate before I install.
What am I doing wrong here?
