Slightly later than James Miller (congrats!) are my initial findings and a test video from the 550D I bought today.

Great short, I think the camera does a great job at these ISO's. Love that store, only wish we could have the same here. I really love the little camera, great stuff.

I saw that you have a Z-finder on it, does it fit as well as the 7D?
Thanks.

Yes the Z-finder works really well with the 550D.

Great vid, that store looks like HEAVEN!
Theres nothing remotley like B&H or that store here in Scotland.
About the z-finder, they mention on the Zacuto website something about
"Special Instructions & Warnings:
- The Z-Finder will work with the Canon 550/T2i camera. However, the frame does cover the proximity sensor on the camera and we don’t recommend adhering the frame on the sensors. Therefore, Zacuto will be marking and cutting a slit in the paper covering that would normally attach to where the proximity sensors are. So when you pull off the adhesive covering, you will have to rub off the adhesive in that area so it will not adhere to the proximity sensor. It will be about a 1” space that you will rub off the adhesive and then you follow the regular z-finder instructions for mounting"
What was your findings with this? I only ask as whether i go for the 7D or the 550D, I'd def want to get the z-finder (the only thing holding me back from the 550d is the lack of WB control, shame)
Cheers
James

I went to Zacuto the other day and filmed why they were putting Z-Finder on my T2i.
