You should get out more!!!! :-) ....actually so should I - 91% - not long now!
EDIT: Just watched it. Basically, I did not see anything that looked better or worse than I've seen with my 7D.... which I guess is brilliant news! Sure you can see some noise on some of the shots - but it's a pretty gloomy, rainy environment we've had here in England this evening (the film should do wonders for the UK's tourist industry!). I guess the only difference would be that the 7D is better weather protected which might have come in handy for that short. The shots at the end are interesting. I'd love to see what it can do with a faster lens with those oh so familiar English wet rush hour scenes. Thanks for sharing, very useful clips.

Thanks for the Clip James.
I agree Andy, it seems as good as the 7D in terms of image. I would love to see a side by side ISO comparison with faster lenses. It looks great nevertheless.
Andy, think Im gonna go out now :)

Just watched the footage shot in England w/ a production model - and I'm blown away.
No prior use, no crew, no special color recipes, no post color correction - and it looks that good? Stunning.
No stair stepping or other common DSLR artifacts that I could see...
And thanks to James Miller for posting it so quickly!

My only question... kit lens or did you have some nice glass laying about?
If this looks this good "straight out of the box", I can't imagine any kit without one of these in it... I've been waiting for Sony to get in gear in the DSLR-V market (they showed mockups... whoo hoo), but at this price point for this quality, this new Canon looks mighty good.

Hi Dave, I used only the Canon 24-105L f4 lens.
