Hey Everyone,

Was wondering what DVD authoring software you would recommend if im looking to have a few options, but mostly have some sort of wizard guide me through the process and provide me with pre-made templates / buttons / backgrounds. Thanks!

Computer:

Vista ultimate 64bit
I7 920 processor
12gigs ram
ATI radeon 4850 HD
2TB storage

Adobe Encore is nice, and has integration with photoshop and premiere.
You can also tray DVDlab

I use Sony DVD Architect Pro. It's pretty intuitive and can take Adobe Photosop files. They have a limited number of preloaded templates and backgrounds for DVD's. Can do subtitles, multiple audio tracks, multiple angles and scripting if you want.

Go with Encore CS4.... CS3 is still very buggy.

The good thing for using Encore is you only need to author once, then can output to DVD, BluRay and Flash on web page.

I have been using DVD-Lab Pro DVDlab PRO DVD authoring tool for advanced users (http://www.mediachance.com/dvdlab/dvdlabpro.html) for a number of years and it is fairly easy to use. Can also do some really complicated DVD menu's like switched menu's !!
