As folks seemed to like the Fungus timelapse I just thought I'd throw this up too. Again these shots are from my forth coming short on the stag beetle.

Lovely bit of video. I really must find time to try a few time lapses myself.

Very nice. The 2nd shot seemed to have a subtle strobe? Am I seeing that?
I've not done this kind of time lapse so I may be commenting beyond my knowledge.
Looks nice.

Hi Mat,
Very nice. Are you aiming to to complete the project in order to enter it into Wildeye?

Ryan - Yes I think somethings happened in compression. Towards the end of the second shot there is some jumping/strobing there... It usually plays smoothly :-/
Mick....You wildscreen!?

Hi Mat,
Typed in a rush this morning, should have read Wildscreen ( brain fade an age thing!). If so, then I will have my fingers crossed for you.

Ah, if its compression then, sweet. That's some nice smooth time lapse.
Good luck with the project.

Mat,
Nicely done. I have noticed that compression definitely strobes time lapse, mostly because we do not have as good of control over the time frames.
Knowing this, when I was shooting DV I put scenealyzer in my lap top to record through it as it gives better time control.
The problem is there is no source I know of to do that with hd/hdv, at least for a reasonable price.
I have not shot growing or blooming plants yet. I plan to do some of this in May when the chrocus bloom. I was wondering how long it took to get the footage you demonstrated here!!!
