I had the very unfortunate experience today of spending
from 7 AM until 1:15 PM attempting to take advantage of
the supposed special $200 offer of Main Concept (MC),
and after their download button kept asking for information
about my "server" and leading me to conduct hours of
Internet research to find out what in the world they
were requesting, and then entering what I thought was
the correct POP3 info, the result totally corrupted my
Boxx E-mail function for their page (and that for Convergent Design, in a
subsequent E-mail I attempted to write to CD), and I finally
quit in utter disgust and paid their regular price of $359.
Never have I had an experience like this - unfortunately,
I may have to deal with them again when they do some
updates. I did not attempt to contact them in view of
their awesome customer disservce.
What a shame that a fine Company such as Convergent Design requires
the Main Concept program in order to function with Premiere.
