I have never worked with P2 footage before and I have recently been given a task to edit some in AE. the problem is I can't seem to get the composition settings right and it keeps "squishing" the footage. Any one familiar with my problem and could you point me in the right direction on the settings?

all the info I have.....

Editing mode: P2 720p 60Hz DVCPROHD

Pixel Aspect Ratio: HD Anamorphic 1080 (1.333)

Fields: No Fields (Progressive Scan)

Frame rate: 59.94 frames/second

I fill this info into the Comp settings and it still doesn't work correctly?

Any help would be awesome!!!!!!

Thanks, Jesse

Settings should be as follows

Composition settings AE:
Width : 1280
Height: 720
Pixel aspect ratio 1,33 (HDV1080/DVCPROHD720)

AND (important)
interpret source footage as : (select shot(s) and command-F)
Pixel aspect ratio 1,33 (HDV1080/DVCPROHD720)

Hope this helps

Also, check to see if Aspect ratio correction is on in AE. Since you aren't dealing with square pixels you have a choice to view with it on or off...
