Hello,

I am having a problem after I edit edit my videos (videos of trains for youtube), I use Vegas Pro 9.0 and I shoot my videos with my Sony DCR-SX41. The Video is fine when it is on the computer and when I am editing it, But after Rendering it, the lines become fuzzy and blur, and have streaks in them, And it is not like that before Rendering only after is when it does this. Is this because of a setting in Sony Vegas? I am not sure what to do, Could it be my Camera? I really like this product but the quality is not makeing me happy, Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Here is a link to one of the videos that you see it in.
YouTube - W&LE Red Silver Orange and Black Local (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJU_MHGOS5o)
you can best see what I mean from 1:28-1:37 if you look at the lines and letters on the train engine and cars.

Thanks

Hi Kodi,

You mention your settings being a possible problem, but don't mention what they are.

When you render out your video, what are your settings?

the template is HDV 720-30p (1280x720, 29.970 fps)
Is this what you mean?

Hi Kodi

It's tough to diagnose since your entire video is shot at night but I did notice right towards the end when the car moved across the screen there looked like interlacing lines on the headlights!!

You need to set your PROJECT properties to match your source footage and one assumes that you are shooting in 720p????

The presence of interlacing lines will probably mean that you are rendering to a format that supports interlacing for TV!! YouTube usually likes 1280x720 for HD footage BUT make 100% sure that before you render, click the 'Custom' button in the render window and check the video tab. You should be rendering out with a field order of 'progressive' and not 'upper' or 'lower' and the aspect needs to be square pixels!!

I tend to use HD WMV format for YouTube 1280x720 and that template will automatically make sure the file doesn't have interlacing.
