I recently got a Pocket Dolly from Kessler and I had a question regarding push ins/outs. I have a 5D Mark II mounted to it and when I attempt to place the camera for pushing in and out type dolly shots, unless I have it angled up really high or set at the maximum zoom (105 mm) you can see the silder in the shot. In other words I need a way to mount the camera at least a foot or more above the slider so it doesn't get it in the frame. Has anyone figured out a solution around this problem?

Hi Dana -
You can use the Flat Mount Adapter and flat mount a fluid head on the Pocket Dolly carriage and then your camera on the fluid head. That should give you the height that you need.

cheap & does the job - I also throw the 701hdv head on for more complex moves
