Hello All,
I have a question given that the NanoFlash records a native SDI signal that bypass's the camera's encoder, if changes are made to the picture profiles do they have any effect the SDI signal recorded the NanoFlash.
I have made some profile changes on my EX3 and can see changes to the signal recorded to the SxS cards but can not see the effect on the NanoFlash File.

Profile changes should be seen on recorded SxS as well as the HD-SDI.... both after camera paint/ shading adjustments... try something radical in the profile and you will see it.

George is correct. The SDI output will be affected by changing camera settings.

Dear Lance,

George is correct.

The HD-SDI and SD-SDI signals are after any picture profiles for almost all cameras.

The Thompson Viper, and maybe some other cameras, allow you to obtain a non-adjusted image, but these are exceptions.

In the case of the Viper, it clearly has multiple SDI out. One is affected by camera settings, the others are not. Most cameras only have a single SDI out, or if they have 2 SDI out, they output the same signal.
