Well, you guys have sold me on getting a Lectrosonics, but man, which one? All I need is the transmitter and receiver for now. I've looked on B&H and I'm not sure which one to get. There are so many models to choose from. What do you have and use for your weddings? Does it come with a XLR male or female to hook up to the Dj's equipment? Which block would I need for N.America?

Also, is my Sennheiser EW100G2 going to be "illegal" to use in July? My frequency goes from 518-520.

$2000-$2400 is my range, but if you think something a little less expensive in the Lectrosonics will work fine let me know please!

lectro is great - but I routinely use 3 wireless units at a wedding sometimes 5.

The Lectrosonics 100 series is fine for weddings. It comes with an interchangeable output cable, you can go either XLR or stereo mini. As for the input, how the cable is wired at the TA5F plug will determine if it's mic level or line level. If you follow the diagram, you can even make your own cables. The TA5F plug is the input to your transmitter, where your microphone will be plugged in.

As for your G2, I believe the 700Mhz band is illegal so if you're in the 500Mhz range you're safe.
