Hi all, I am curious to know how the 300's "HD" vf compares to the standard one on the 500.

The 300 viewfinder is leagues better than the VF on the 500, it is much higher resolution. I found the 300 VF to be very usable, clear and a pleasure to use. It is not perfect, I found it a little small but it is razor sharp and makes focusing a breeze.
