Just a quick heads up as I've found the same problem on two of our three EX1s.
The small screws on the right hand, side face of the LCD viewinder are coming loose, we've had one fall out completely, thankfully it was found in the Storm case. These screws appear to hold the hinge assembly inside the viewfinder so they would be under some stress and vibration.
To tighten or check these screws a long bladed philips head jewellers screwdriver is required. Certainly worth checking these screws regularly.

I wold suggest a little "locktite" blue or green on the screw when reinstalling or if they are loose.

That thought did enter my head too. These screws are quite difficult to access though and are very tiny, 2.0mm I think. Trying to get the Locktite onto the thread of the screw and then the screw into the hole without it touching anything else would be very difficult, especially the bottom screw.

For very tiny screws I use a toothpick to apply a small amount of Loctite to the threads. It keeps it all very clean and neat.

A very small dab will do it, with locktite that is.

You can even let the locktite dry a bit before installing the screw.

If you get to much on the threads, just touch a paper towel to the screw and most of it will be absorbed.

Don't use it like tooth paste.
