So I have this kit now.

Does anyone know if I have to buy the Vinten dolly, or can I go outside the brand?

I chatted with BH and they said I have to stay with Vinten, but when I look at like the Bogen 525 sticks, those feet look the same.

You don't have to "stay in the brand" for sure. That's some BS. It just depends on your personal preference and whether you can make it all fit together.

Well, I just need a secondary dolly, meaning I wouldn't use it that much. I already have a Quickset dolly that is my work horse, but it has round receptecles and the Vinten sticks do not have round polls. So, I'm on the phone with BH again to see if anyone there knows some options.
