I have searched the manual, the internet and these forums and I have not found the answer to my question.

I am trying to record on an SD card with my Canon XHA1 and every time I try to record, I get a message that prevents me saying..."In card position" and how do I change it? I have initialized the card and that has not changed a thing. Please help me!

In card position, you can take photos by pressing the small "photo" button above the hand grip. For video, you need tape.

I blv you cannot record on a SD Card, Only Photos and Presets are allowed there, and to change it "In card position MSG" you'll ve to record videos onto your miniDVs by flipping the switch back to Video/Camera mode "I cant remember the Option on-top of my head"..
