Hi Folks,
I've successfully tried converting an AVI file to an MOV file (short 3 sec clip) using HD Link; and turned out that the MOV clip is a smaller file.
What I want to know is if there's a loss in quality when doing so?
(I've orginally shot the SD footage, captured thru firewire, and edited on Premiere Pro CS2. Now the client wants a do-over with their own editor, but the new editor is running Final Cut. So I thought I'd make it easier on everyone by converting the AVI files into Quicktime/MOV files. Or I can just send him the original miniDV tapes and be done with it :)
Best,
