Hola, i was wondering if i can save $ building a DIY Steadistand for the merlin.Any ideas?anybody out there did it?

I get no vest yet... Brian David Melnyk February 2nd, 2010, 02:26 AM this is built using an Apex mic stand microphone mount (about $10). i drilled a hole for a bolt that fit nicely in the Merlin handle and threaded a piece of flat metal for support (with kitchen drawer grip material taped on for padding and so the handle would not rotate). the nuts/washers lock on the bolt and also can adjust the right length for the bolt to fit in the Merlin handle.
