I got my hands of a PDW-F330L (with lens) for a bargain price yesterday.
Bought it for around US$4200 + VAT (2900 Euro).

The lens is Sony (Canon) HD VCL-719BXS 19x zoom. Is that the ordinary bundled lens? Is it a (quite) good lens?

I've just ordered some batteries, so I haven't been able to try it yet (and yes, the supplier - a financial company that has taken it back from a bankrupcy client, will let me return it if it would not work properly).

Ordered two V-mount batteries (Vect 130Wh with LCDs) and a double charger Vect ET2-LSD today for around US$815 (575 Euro) which hopefully arrives in two days.

Aside from my questions if the lens is good - I wonder what kind/type of viewfinder should I look for? I assume a 2" is what I need for HD work - and the included 1,5", well - I've heard it's quite crappy...

What VF's would fit and where can I find good (perhaps used) viewfinders? Any suggestions?

I think your only option is the DXF-20W 2" finder, but it's going to cost more than you paid for the camera unless you can find a used one.

The lens is useable. It's pretty sharp so the pictures are OK but the focus system is pretty horrid with no way to know where you are focused. Pull focuses are very difficult to do.

Yeah... some day it could be another lens to it as well. But on the other hand - I'm not to sure how long it'll take until next camera buy :)
