any suggestions for a thin 72mm uv filter that will allow a second screw on filter (cpl / cc / etc.,) if necessary?

Mark Goodsell January 16th, 2010, 05:47 PM I bought this filter recently for my Z5 (same seller, actually). Brand new, great quality, and it is very low profile. Will accept additional filters. I thought it was a good buy for a quality filter compared to the price of other filters on Ebay and definitely cheaper than B&H. Also bought a Vivitar Circular Polarizer (CPL) filter from the same outfit and if I remember they combined shipping. Like I said, I thought the quality was great on both items and have had no problems. I generally don't stack filters. I'll pull the UV filter off when I put on the CPL. I try to limit the extra glass in front of a great Sony lens. That's just me. I also have a Moose's filter that we have had for several years for use on a DSLR. A Moose's filter is a combination of a CPL and warming filter. Great for landscape and outdoor work. I use it on the Z5. You find someone selling them cheap on Ebay from time-to-time. Good luck. Leslie Wand January 17th, 2010, 08:12 PM thanks again mark.... will have to look into it.... |
