Does anyone have an educated guess as to when we'd expect a replacement for the Canon 1Ds mkIII? It's been out for a while now, and Canon has got to have the mkIV queing up somewhere. When would be the next likely chance it would be released?

Check the previous release dates for the 1Ds models, then look for any major photo trade shows coming up, and you should be able to extrapolate a "best guess." For example, WPPI happens in early March...

It's a 2.5 - 3 year cycle for Canon, right? The last 1Ds came out about 4-5 months behind the last 1D, which should mean the 1Ds mkIV is.... just around the corner? :)
I can hold my breath till March.
