Has anybody heard if Litepanels is coming out with a new Micro Pro (hopefully with a metal housing) anytime soon? I don't know, I am trying to find out.

I need an on camera light and am torn between that and a MicroBeam 128.

LP already has a MicroPro out. It's still a plastic housing (how else to keep weight down?), but it is 55W at full power, also has a new mounting shoe which is a lot better than the plastic foot on the Micro which has broken on most peoples light including mine.

this may sound a little too obvious, but have you tried contacting their sales department?
