I'm editing a video with some video and audio tracks. One of these video tracks are used to text clips. Is it possible to export all these text-clips to an external software like word or excel without copy the text in these clips one by one? A person without experience in video-editing are going to translate the text into another language. Or does anyone have another way to fix this?

Sorry Leif, I don't think there is any way to achieve this.
In order to save a little time, I guess you could take a snapshot of each frame that has text and have your colleague translate from that (you could even go the extra mile and OCR it but I'm not sure if that will save you any further time!). If (s)he then types the translation into Word then you could copy/paste back into the text media, rather than having to retype.
Other than that, I can't think of any way to extract text.

Ian has given you the best suggestion. Have your friend type the text into a word document, or even in Word Pad, then you can just copy and paste from that into Vegas.

The actual text in the box is not accessible to scripts. So you'll really need to copy/paste each one. You'll have to copy/paste each one again to get the translated version set.

Thanks for the answers. I understand there is a job to do here; copy and paste........
