For all of you on west coast, check out Dylan's rental shop and any other help you may need finding a shooter. He was really accommodating. Thanks Dylan

I believe this thread should be in the Helping Hands section?: Helping Hands Forum at DVinfo.net (http://www.dvinfo.net/forum/helping-hands/)

For the record, I'm in the area, but I'll be in PA that day. Feel free to update if you still need help finding someone.

Some nice shots in your trailer, I wish you all the best in the industry but don't end up just having to enter regional film agency competitions, they can have limited effect in getting a break into the industry and tend to exist to promote the film agency and get them publicity!

Shooting a making of video for a fashion shoot for a day in the second or third week of November in NYC. I'm seeking a shooter or ideally a camera / editor team familiar with fashion style video shoots. The shoot would be edited for the web and for in store display and would focus on both the shoot and the clothing/models. Please reply with your reel, and experience with these style of shoots to createvisuals@gmail.com

Looking for experienced corporate shooter with good lighting kit and professional camera (SD is fine. Sony DSR-300 or equivalent is preferred).

The shoot is a panel discussion (to be webcast), and a 2 person interview.

Thanks!

Hi all - this is pretty last minute but I'm looking to rent a tripod tomorrow night in Bowling Green, Ohio from 3pm-7pm. At the least something equivalent to a Manfrotto 501 will do.

Please email me ASAP if you can help. DADodds@gmail.com

Thanks!

Hi,
Next year I want to add to my package "two camera operators", so I'm looking for a second cameraman with own equipment (sony hd camera...) to work with in London area and around.
Or might be someone can advice me how to find one.

You can email me at info@youmyworld.co.uk

Hi all,

I need to find one (or more) freelance FCP editors, preferably in Essex but London is also possible. Near to Chelmsford would be ideal.

I have a range of projects to cover so please contact me on: info (at) lunarfilm.co.uk with experience, links to sample work and expected day rate. You MUST be fluent in FCP Studio, fast and reliable.

I'll do my best to confirm receipt of your email but will only be able to contact people suited for the projects I have.

Many thanks

Hi,

I have a friend who lives in Oslo who is filming some b-roll for me for a project this weekend.

Does anyone have one we could rent or know of a place we could rent one from?

Thanks,

Jim

Can you tell a coherent story with a beginning, middle, and the all-important end in three minutes? How about 60-90 seconds?

I am working for a company with global activities. We need to to get in contact with professional video journalists around the world to help making short videos with interviews. All editing will be made by us at the head office.

Anyone here who know if there are some network of VJ's existing?

Hey fellas,

Just saw this post, thought I'd introduce myself as well. You never know when you might need a helping hand, right?

Hey Bjorn.

There are a few websites I've come across in the past where you might be able to advertise for videographers interested in collaborating with your project. There's also VJ Movement, who're based in Amsterdam, but they might see you as competition (or not).

Also feel free to personal message me as I'm doing some VJ work here in Guatemala.

Cheers
Dave

I've recently completed my BA in Film at St. Cloud State University in MN, USA and am looking or any opportunities to start building my career. I am currently focussed on cinematography, but have a large skill set to bring to the table. I have participated in over a dozen productions in various capacities, from Producer, Director, Cinematographer/DP to Gaffer, Editor, Boom Operator, Digital Effects and Sound Design. I've produced and shot two award winning micro-budget shorts.

I had a 10 year IT career as Technical Support, Systems and Network engineering in mission critical settings (newspaper and banking). During this time, I've been in charge of high budget technology rollouts as well as day to day maintenance and monitoring of systems. Layoffs and a weakening job market sent me back to school to complete my degree in Anthropology and led me to turn my passion for filmmaking into a degree.

I have a MN Commercial Drivers license with a passenger endorsement and am Red Cross First Aid certified.

My CV is posted online @ Y.A.F.I.:People (http://yafiunderground.com/index.php?page=people&title=Y.A.F.I.:People#cole)
I can be reached by phone at (320)310-7791 or e-mail at mailto:knightscape@charter.net

Thank you for any time and consideration you provide.
