My mentor is currently pushing me to start my own production company. I figured if I do this my concentration will be Television Productions (TV Shows, commercials, informercials, documentaries, etc.) Corporate Video, Training videos, etc. The only edge I will have over other local production companies, I have an aquantince that is a cg animator but he is based out of Hollywood, CA. I am looking into other ventures I can get my company into so that I can maximize my profit. Would anyone have any Ideas?

you could offer to be a dp for independent filmmakers. I am also from florida, Miami in specific how about yourself?

Im from Fernandina, it is just north of Jacksonville, Fl. That would not be a bad idea being a DP for indies. I have a couple of projects lined up and working on starting a local TV show.

If you want to maximize your profits then I would suggest going into a different line of work.
