I remember a thread that discussed the ability to hot swap CF cards during recording was being added in an upcoming firmware. Has this been added yet? I just tried tried unsuccessfully to hot swap over the weekend. My setup:
XBox 360 HDMI out @ 720p 59.94
into nanoFlash 1.1.154 w/ Sandisk Extreme IV 16GB
We start recording onto slot 1's CF card. Slot 1's LED is blinking red and slot 2's is steady green. When slot 1 is full, it rolls over to slot 2's CF card. Slot 1's LED changes to steady red and slot 2's LED goes to blinking red. We pop out the card in slot 1 and replace it with a fresh card. The LED's do not change. When slot 2 's CF card is full it throws an error saying cannot read from Slot 2, CF card not fast enough, corrupt data. We power cycle the nanoFlash and start over.
We are going to upgrade our flash cards to a higher capacity soon so it shouldn't be as big of a deal. I would still be interested to know when the hot swap is working.
Thanks CD!!
