I find it so hard to believe, but it seems it's true. This short 5-min film cost only 300 dollarsv and as I hear, the creator is now working for the big names. Ok, there is talent, but... 300 dollars? Unbelievable!

that is cool $300 bucks, if anyone knows where i can get a legitimate copy of even some editing software that works for $300 please do tell.
i heard that Windows movie maker wont do that kind of stuff :-)

That's what a friend of mine who edits Dr Who said.

I guess it would depend on what he's counting as his production costs, but it's not a "real" figure if he's actually not including or factoring in the cost of the software, unless he works for a post house and then again it's not a realistic figure, only that he personally was out of pocket $300.

He said on some blog that he spent $300 physically shooting the live action. Then, after the initial $300 he spent over a year dealing with the editing and visual effects. So the $300 is only initial shooting costs.
