I (myself) cant use a 3.5" screen to do a focus or even properly view my whole picture , i would need at least 7"+ to USE a lcd screen to do my work, preferably a 42" :-)

If i get a X1 instead of a X3 (with the real loupie over the LCD screen)
would the Hoodman Loupie thing be a Kludgey mess added to LCD or would it functionally view the whole screen and still have diopter focus like the X3 has.

(3 part hoodman loupe contraption)

Working out of Seating in many locations, a BACK viewer is not as usuable as a side viewer.
with the big long Loupie over the X3 does that put the human ON the side of the camera or still quite a bit to the back of the camera?
also i really dont like 1/2" micro viewers, but i wont ask for a high res B&W CRT cause thats not gonna happen :-)

I have found the Hoodman HoodLoupe for the EX1 to be extremely useful - one can view the entire screen and have a diopter adjustment (my right eye is not so good so this really helps). There are a number of threads on dvinfo about people choosing the right shoulder mount and many people want to make sure it works with the HoodLoupe first before choosing it (I know I did).
