This was shot using the manual white balance preset of 5.6K for both indoors and outdoors.
One of these days I will break down and learn how to set the white balance properly.

Would have been nice if you could have done a snippet interview with him, but I'm sure he had a quite busy/tight schedule.

Thanks for the compliment! I actually did get an interview - or rather, I videotaped him being interviewed by our freelance writer, who covered the event along with me. We had literally 5 minutes with him before he had to go out and sign books. It was kind of a painful interview because the writer didn't prepare well enough and it was obvious. If you go to our web site, TCPalm.com, you can find the interview in our video player. The red drape behind Emeril is something that the writer and I had to put up real quick to make sure the viewer didn't realize that the interview was actually conducted in a broom closet.

Emeril has two big retired-cop bodyguards traveling with him, so I just stayed out of his way. But he seems nice, FWIW.
