Am planning on getting a 7D for my travels.. see sig website..

This is getting far too expensive for me though..

I was looking at the DSLR Tactical Shooter by Zacuto for steady footage.. i looked at the price to almost have a heart attack! Around $1,117.00 for some metal!!

So am planning to make my own, maybe a modified monopod with extra contact points.

What do you think about this? Would it work?
