Edward, that is a fine lens, and I'm thinking about it. I'm looking at other lenses, like a fisheye, right now and I'm having a devil of a time deciding.

I'm glad you didn't go ebay yet. I dislike selling on there.

I concur. these mics were built to last. At the station where I work, we have a few that are probably 15 years or older and they still function fine.

Don't forget about this little gem. It replaces the ext mike holder on the ex1/3 cameras and adds an additional cold shoe. You'll need an external mic holder to slide into the cold shoe but that's a good thing... cause it isolates the mic from shocks.

Yah, I used to swear by eBay. As of late, I just swear AT eBay, and Paypal for that matter. I just hate the fees (I've been selling pricey items lately and I watch huge chunks of the sells go to fees). Just stinks considering you're already selling at a discounted price.

(Sorry, don't mean to sound money-hungry...I'm really not. I just want to get a fair amount for my gear.)

A good friend of mine has this tripod for sale. It comes with a hard shell case for transport.

Here's the description and pricing from B&H; Cartoni D601 Delta Aluminum Tripod System D601 B&H Photo Video

the case is valued at $200
He's asking $4250.00 and that includes shipping

It's a great piece of gear but he has no use for it and it is in like new condition. Scale of 1 to 10 it's a 9+.
the case is a little marred up but better the case than the tripod.
Thanks for looking!

Are they the sort of hours SONY would test it for after a firmware upgrade?

No worries, it was an honest mistake and Tom is refunding my money. It's a shame, because the camera is otherwise terrific and will no doubt make someone happy!

Actually, if you want to point him to eBay, it's been listed (my username's alexdroog79).

Hey, I just recently started seeing a lot of posts about the GH2. What are the big features with that camera (why is it so popular)?

I traded mine for a crappy EF kit lens I bought at a garage sale for $27 ('cuz I didn't have an even $30). That's where.

(Note: I highly recommend this lens, it lives in my loaded backpack. Absolutely worth $340)

GH2 is "hot" because it can shoot great video, but be forewarned, it is not easy to get the results, takes a lot of practice, not for the faint of heart! Check out Oleg's page below for some samples. I googled gh2 video, etc and there are a LOT of horrible videos out there also, but it's the fault of the user, not the camera!

check out the Angels of love video for a sample: http://vimeo.com/olegkalyan

I keep losing my Touch and Go plates. I've had a sweet camera stolen while it was attached to the thing, I've lost it in the forest, it's fallen in to the bleedin' ocean and now someone who rented it from me has lost it. It's somewhere between ironic and funny how a lost little piece of aluminum with a couple holes in it renders my baller tripod useless, but true. Regardless, I've spent the $67+shipping more often then I'd like. I am ready to have extras. Does anyone have any? Have you perhaps found mine in the ocean or forest? I'm willing to pay a fair price for as many as I can find.

Thanks and cheers.
