This has just caught me out - there was I thinking that the trusty (old) manfrotto 521 would fit my EX3 but no - I need the 'Pro' 8 pin plug....thanks for this thread!

Are there any advantages to the Zoe over the cheaper Manfrotto 521?

Rather the other way around I think. The Manfrotto has fast end to end zoom buttons which don't appear to be on the Zoe.

However, it does have the annoying red light which DOESN'T indicate you're recording - see the other thread for a solution.
