I did not know it was $400 new, thanks for the heads up.

I have a GH1 with the 14-140 lens, I'm just looking for a second. I do not shoot wedding, I primarily shoot interviews (and the associated b-roll) so lighting is controlled. I'm sure there are better lenses available, I just want matching cameras for now.

Hi Bill,

I have one it is the version III and only purchased in Dec 2010. New condition since it was only used on two jobs lightly.

Will check on the price to see when I will sell it for.

Also have a Canon 5D MKII body, 16-35 Canon lens and battery grip, 4 batteries, charger. All of this gear is new condition and I just decided to sell since it has worked its magic for me and time to sell it.

More soon when I place an ad tomorrow when I have the details.

Hi everyone:

Recently started out on my own offering production work and interested in upgrading my existing equipment. I'm in the market to purchase a 2nd hand PMW-ex1r or nx5u, and seeing if any of the dvinfo members have any they're looking to sell.

Sincerely

Robert

You might consider the 14-45mm, I bet it would match very nicely, and save you a bundle.

I've decided to sell the audio gear that I bought last year but have never used. It's not doing me any benefit just sitting on the shelf, so I figure I'm better off selling it all to someone who will actually use it. All of this gear is brand new, and has never been used - at all. I still have all original boxes, packaging and manuals and any included accessories. This gear is definitely "as new".

I'll link each piece to its description at B&H Photo to save myself having to list the specs here. I don't have pics handy, but I will get some posted up tonight, when I get home form work.

This package includes:

RODE NTG-3 Precision RF-Biased Shotgun Microphone
RODE Blimp - Complete Windshield and Suspension System
K-Tec KE-110CC Aluminum Boompole (2'7" - 9'2") with Internal Coiled XLR Cable

To buy this gear new would cost you well over $1200, plus tax and shipping, but I'll let this pristine package go for $730 shipped anywhere in Canada or the US; $760 shipped internationally.

Payment by PayPal would be preferred for buyers outside of Canada, e-mail money transfer is preferred for Canadian buyers. Please feel free to e-mail me at krausb@shaw.ca to discuss other payment options if you don't do PayPal or EMT.

Thanks for looking, and if you have any questions at all please feel free to ask here or e-mail me at krausb@shaw.ca!

-Brad

Not sure if your only looking for the ex1r but I have a EX1 with latest firmware for sale. It has 122 hours and operates like new. Shows just a little bit of use with a tiny bit of paint rubbed off the internal mic. Included with the camera are 4x8gig sxs cards, 2 sony batteries, 2 swit d-tap batteries, sxs card reader including all original accessories. It's a great camera and includes everything you would need. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks

This is a great camera that I really don't want to let go but I am considering an upgrade so I'm putting this out there. The camera body has some paint wear but its purely cosmetic. The camera is well cared for and in good working order. I have the original box and everything that came with in. It has about 12,5XX actuations.

Canon 5D Mark II + (1) 4GB CF card + charger and two batteries

EF 85mm f/1.8 + Hoya multicoated UV filter

Arsat Arax 35mm f/2.8 shift lens

Canon speedlite 270 EX flash
Has a tilt/bounce head. Very little use. Perfect companion for 5D. Only requires 2 AA batteries.

Make me an offer. mindlee (a) gmail (dot) com.

Bob, I'm using your HV30 with 4 DSLRs for audio, so I'm AVCHD also. Can't monitor the audio with DSLRs. I love a shotgun on the HV30, audio quality is very good. I also have a Rode Videomic and Videomic Pro. Did you run any comparisons of the Sennheiser and Rode? What I've read is the Senny might lack a bit in the low end and be noisier, but many do seem to like them. I will soon find out I suppose!

OK, so - after some more consideration - I've decided not to sell my EX1 with peripherals, just the Letus Elite bundle (cannot edit my original post to reflect that).

I believe the EX1 is just too good an all-around camera to get rid of it!

The Letus Elite complete bundle I will sell for the equivalent of some GBP 1,000 (1,200 with the Canon FD glass: 24mm/F2.8, 50mm/F1.4, 85mm/F1.8, 30-105mm/F3.5).

Actually, I'm looking at the Rode because it's physically larger than the Sennheiser. My problem resides with the students I teach and how they treat the gear. I wanted something more substantial as well as capable.

Jeff Harper
June 2nd, 2011, 09:58 AM
I can tell you the Sennheiser is of a more solid design, physically than either Rode. The older Rode model jumps around during movement using it's support system, but produces excellent results. It's just such a flimsy setup. The support system on both of them make them seem like Fisher-Price toys. The newer Rode is better overall, but the support bands seem to slip off easily when you are handling it, and changing batteries on it is so awkard it's frustrating.

I am absolutely in love with the Sennheiser for it's build quality. It is my single new favorite piece of gear.
