I am interested in getting the HZ-CA13U 16mm PL adapter and the HM700. Any Issues? How well does it work? Are they a good match?

Thank You

Alan

It works as well as it did on the HD200/250.

Here's some samples of what I've shot with it.

Thank you for the clip. I really like the depth of field.

Would you use it on a regular basis for shoots? I am looking for something better that the RedRock Micro M2 that I have on my GY-HM100U.

How about using it vs. a DSLR.

The angle of view is equivalent to 16mm so that's the chart you would use to determine depth of field at a given focal length. For most intents and purposes you can also use the same CoC on the DoF lookup charts.

I do use it on a regular basis for narrative drama and music video shoots.

As for it vs a DSLR like the Canon 7D... there are pros and cons to each system and my choice would really depend on the client, budget, shoot conditions and creative direction of the project.
The 3 primary differences to consider are:

form factor
chip size
CCD vs CMOS (pros and cons for each depending on shooting conditions)

For what it's worth, mine is up for grabs due to lack of use.
