I too am interested in this information! Hopefully, someone will reply, as I'm in the market for a 32gig card!

Thanks!

As usual, I went with a Lexar 32gb 300x. It's been great for me. Many people have no problem with 133x.
I want 300x on my cards.

My Sandisks are, I think, the equivalent of 200x and I've never had a problem with them. The Kingstons I've had -- 6 out of 7 of which failed -- are 133x. But I have a 133x Transcend which has been flawless.

FWIW.

Interesting about issues with the Kingston 133x. I assume you are talking about the the green Elite Pro cards ? I have capturing to my Canon 5D for 2 years with them without a hitch. I just bought 5 more from someone on this site to use in a used MrC1k I bought. Last night I captured an hour long show through my cable box and my VX2000 (obviously in DV) and the unit captured the entire run without a hitch. After the capture, I immediate pulled the card, and it was certainly warm, but I had not problem transferring.

okay, i just re-read this thread and still am unclear as to whether you can use cf larger than 32gb?

and i know all the relevant arguments about using 16gb (which i do anyway), but i'm still curious.....

anyone any experience with 64gb cards?

ok, i'll put my latest observation in:

bought one of these:

Faster than SANDISK 32GB Extreme Compact Flash Memory Card 533X - Lifetime Warranty (http://www.advancedfrontier.com/ocart/index.php?route=product/product&path=45&product_id=74)

so far so good - filled it a couple of times...

@$85aus - bargain!
