OK I need to power this monitor all day, so the power coming from the camera is not a solution. I have a Swit battery with D-tap and have powered it this way before but I need a mains solution.

So what's out there that can plug in the mains, and have a female 4 pin XLR giving 12 volts 1 amp?

I found this.
PRO VIDEO CAMERA LIGHTS VTR POWER SUPPLY 4 pin XLR - eBay (item 370283077913 end time Nov-29-09 17:41:46 PST) (http://cgi.ebay.com/PRO-VIDEO-CAMERA-LIGHTS-VTR-POWER-SUPPLY-4-pin-XLR_W0QQitemZ370283077913QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item5636976119)

Would it work? Or what other solutions are out there?

Thanks in advance
Steve

Try the Marshall V-PS12-5V-XLR Power Supply with 4-Pin Female XLR Connection, 5A (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/480428-REG/Marshall_V_PS12_5V_XLR_V_PS12_5V_XLR_Power_Supply.html). You will need to change the power cord to three pin UK plug which are readily available. I put a 3amp fuse in mine, not 5amp and it works like a dream. Hope it helps.
