Can you place a menu button that links to a specific chapter on a single video file?
View Full Version : In DVDa Steven Davis November 16th, 2009, 09:32 PM Can you place a menu button that links to a specific chapter on a single video file? Edward Troxel November 17th, 2009, 07:28 AM Yes you can. Just click on the button and in the properties on the right you can set which chapter you want it to point to. If you want buttons automatically for ALL chapters, you can "insert scene selection menu". Steven Davis November 17th, 2009, 08:06 PM So, when I drag the button, any random button in, I when I right click on it, I don't see 'properties.' I'm using DVD 4.5. I'm confused. I appreciate any more help. Dugi Barr November 18th, 2009, 06:46 AM You just need to click on the button (not right click) and on the far left of your screen you'll see a panel headed "Button Properties". Edward Troxel November 18th, 2009, 08:54 AM My "button properties" are on the RIGHT. Drag the video to the menu. Click on that video, look at the "Button Properties", go to the "Action" tab, and change the "Destination Chapter". You can also right-click the button and choose "Insert Scene Selection Menu". This will create one or more new menu(s) with buttons for EVERY chapter. You can then copy and paste those as needed to other menus.
