Tom Hardwick November 13th, 2009, 03:48 AM I haven't tried the light but the wording on the web page tells you that it's an 'interview' light designed for closeups, isn't very powerful and doesn't have much spread. It may be fine if you don't expect too much from it, but as with all these new LED lights, I always feel it's worth doing an A/B test alongside the long-standing Sony 20-DW2.
Desmond Sukotjo November 13th, 2009, 04:29 AM And this one came-up after further research.

Any words?
Tom Hardwick November 13th, 2009, 04:54 AM I'm pleased to see one of its bullet points is 'HD fortmat' What?
But a good point for me (being a Sony man) is that it takes NP-F batteries. If you're not Sony equipped, the AA battery is probably a better idea.
There's a huge amount of such panel lights about right now, but there's still no substitute for trying before buying.
Alex Pineyro November 15th, 2009, 10:51 AM Of course there is a substitute for trying before you buy. Other people buying the same thing and posting their experiences on youtube. j/k
But this one looks impressive. At $64 US doesn´t seem like a bank breaker.
YouTube - Pro 126-led videolight from Ebay (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=toOsJncF-o4)
It takes 5 different battery types, and reading a couple reviews on the net, It seems like a good investment.
Cheers
Alex
Tom Hardwick November 15th, 2009, 02:32 PM Looks good Alex - and thanks for the pointer.
Desmond Sukotjo November 17th, 2009, 07:55 AM What?? e-Bay making video light now??
Dave Blackhurst November 17th, 2009, 07:11 PM Import HK/China LED light, like many other "quality" items available at the world's biggest flea market....
Richard Andrewski November 18th, 2009, 07:01 AM And there's a lot here in China that never seem to make it out beyond the border. We see more and more of these small LED camera lights all the time.
Desmond Sukotjo November 24th, 2009, 10:25 PM Interesting. How do they perform though? Are they LED or Bulb? It'll be very nice if we can line them up and test compare them one to another. Of course that's almost impossible.
Taky Cheung November 25th, 2009, 12:50 AM I did some on-camera lights comparison videos before. It compares 2 Canon lights, LP Micro, SWIT S2010 and the Comer lights

Robert Rogoz December 5th, 2009, 12:42 AM I bought one Pro-126LED and it produces quite good lighting. For the price it's hard to beat them. There is a brightness adjustment as well on this unit.
Desmond Sukotjo December 5th, 2009, 09:19 PM What is the Pro-126LED? What brand?
