Here's the latest update on the nanoFlash FAQs. Please note that this document assumes the nanoFlash is using version 1.1.XXX software, which should be available in a few days.

We added new tables on Compact Flash media and clarified the programs needed to play back our files on a MAC (w/o FCP) and a PC (w/o an NLE). We also added a section on ASI.

Happy Reading-

Mike,

Good job on this documentation. I know it is preliminary, but I looked it over and it should be very useful for all of us.

FYI... I'm sure you have many more important details to worry about, but there is a typo in the camera list. The Panasonic you referred to is the HDX900 (not HPX900). Someone with an HDX900 might think it isn't a good choice, since "HPX" would refer to a P2 camera (if there were one with that designation). I'm happy to say that the HDX900 is a great choice for the nanoFlash!

Hi Steve-
Wow, thanks for the feedback. It's great to hear that the FAQs are useful (as well as being read). I have corrected my error on the Panasonic camera and will include in the next update. I basically leave the FAQs as an open doc on my laptop as I have to update a couple of times a day to keep up with the changes (our firmware changes, new cameras, new Compact Flash cards, changes to NLEs, etc).

Best-
