I must say, your English is great; I've been recently in Rome and my only disappointment was with the lack of ANY English knowledge of any kind, AT ALL (not even Hello/Thank you and very basic English) and I'm speaking of people who work with tourists, including taxis. So a big plus for you, your English is great!
