Hi, sorry if this is a basic question, I am new to GH1, and just got installed the 20mm f/1.7 lens, and I've noticed the lens is continuously doing AF as I move the camera to a different subject, exposure is set yo iA (auto mode), what I have to do, to disable this and have AF only when I press the shutter ?, thanks

You can always take it off the intelligent Auto mode.

I didn't think iA mode had anything to do with it. I thought this had everything to do with the AFS vs AFC setting.
Regarding video, something I wish is that AFS worked in video mode. Instead, I have to physically rotate the focus mode dial to MF to stop autofocus. And it would be nice to just half-press the shutter button to have it focus real quick, then go back to manual. AFS does this for photos, but not video.

I thought there was manual over ride on this lens? Why don't you try turning the focus ring on the lens with the camera set to AFS, does that not temporarily put you into manual focus?
I don't have the kit lens any more so can't try it, but I'm sure I remember trying this with that and it worked.
