View Full Version : e-HDR (Hard Disk Recorder) Experiences?? Kevin Spahr November 10th, 2009, 04:21 PM I'm interested in using this with a SSD . I don't want spinning media on a camera. How have the e-HDR hard drive recorders been working? Any "restore" errors occurring? Is there a power adapter that allows you to use a D tap? I donīt need an "extra" sony-battery adapter in the setup.... keeping the setup as simple and portable as possible using a Dtap.... kind regards Alex Dolgin November 11th, 2009, 08:31 AM Enrique, the D-Tap is 12V-14V, as produced by a BP-U battery. The drives always use 5V. The adapter is a step down regulator circuit, it has to be somewhere in between the battery and the drive. In our case it is hidden inside the plate. Regards.
