Here's a music video I recently completed for jazz singer Inga Swearingen. Inga's a semi-regular guest on Minnesota Public Radio's program Prairie Home Companion, and has just released her third CD: First Rain.

The video was shot entirely on the 5d mark II. All lighting was "as we found it". The support kit was pretty much limited to an IndieDolly and a modified Image 2000 shoulder mount. For lenses I used Canon 50mm 1.2L, a 35mm 1.4L, and a 45mm tilt/shift.

Excellent work! And you only used available lighting??

None. We gobo'd off a skylight in the barn coming from the upper right, and tacked up some white fabric on the wall facing her. The only reason I even mentioned it was because it looks lit...I wish every shoot was this easy.

Fantastic!
Nicely shot (though I don't like hand-held shots ((especially for this kind of video)), the composition was great), well lit (though you didn't do any electrical lighting, you perfectly took advantage of what you had and made it look 100% pro), great grading and editing.
And good music too.

Thoroughly enjoyable across the spectrum.
