It looks static to me, you can see a few spots that don't move when the camera does, but wow, what a great looking shot. Nice color, no hotspot at all! Fill us in!

OK,... let me guess: a MF lens (2.8/80?) and a good Fresnel focusing screen, right?
His hair is a direct "threat" to my Felix...(but then again his skills are useless when it comes to playing with rubber mice....)The pic is as good as it could get (out of a static); no light loss, no vigneting, crispytysharp, (hmmmm....can you still see us down here?....)

The imager is removeable (see pic) for deep aeriel focus work ;)

At F1.2-F4.5 I crop 16:9 from 35mm Vista size (36x24); at F4.8-F8.0 I crop 16:9 from Academy size (22x16) (because of vignette constraints); and F8.0-F22.0 is deep aeriel (no imager). The length of the attachment is 20mm + FFD.

Wow, you wrote that way back in 2003! I didn't see the motor you were talking about though in the original post - maybe you decided against it? If not, maybe you aren't showing the mechanism that would sit on top of the SLIDE (that is what it looks like to me!) and vibrates it (which would be cool as well). In any event, I guess I can't complain much anymore considering how long you have been working on this thing and with the great results you have gotten. Keeping it a secret is cool too, all that work has to count for something, right?

Another thing you said was using 16:9 to cut down the vignetting constraints - a solution that I had never thought of before - but it seem people like Oscar and Dan have full screen and don't have that constraints (I on the other hand do, sniff sniff) - interesting accomodation, never-the-less.
