Sorry, if this has been ask before but I'm wondering if its safe to let the camera record till the SxS card is full, then continue recording (non stop) to a SDHC card in the other slot.
Will it record right through to the other slot without throwing up error messages.

Thanks in advance.

I do this often with SDHC. It's never a problem.

In fact that's the first test I do to make sure the SDHC cards are good. Two cards and I run them straight through in one long record.

I have done this over a dozen times with no problems. It's been over a year and I have not had one failure with SDHC cards. EX1, MxR, Sandisk Ultra II 16GB, Transcend 16GB, SxS 16GB, 8GB.

Yes, I mix SxS and SDHC cards on LONG continuous shoots all the time. No problems. Ingest time is much better (of course) with SxS so I use these first and then use SDHC cards with adapters when I run out of SxS cards.

Thanks Craig, Kevin and Andrew.

Andrew, thats what I might have to do today, if I run out of SxS Cards. I've a wedding today and the bride has asked me if I would stay for a wee bit of the disco. I never do this but I said I would do, this time, ONLY.

I have plenty of SDHC cards so thats why I asked.

Thanks all.
