I am noticing that my videos for the web are not as sharp as they used to be. As far as I remember, I am following the same steps now as I did in the first versions of Prospect 4K when creating Flash and QuickTime videos. The only differences that I can think of are newer versions of Prospect 4K and Sorenson Squeeze.
Is there a better process to achieve sharper video? Here are my steps for a HD timeline with Prospect 4K.
1. Export movie in Quicktime format as de-interlaced at 1920x1080 resolution
2. Import video into Sorenson Squeeze
3. Export video to Flash or Quicktme formats at 480x270 progessive
I seem to get the same results if I export 480x270 from Premiere to use in Sorenson Squeeze.
The difference can be seen at Eary Productions - Commercial and product marketing (http://www.earyproductions.com). The homepage has a contest video that is not sharp. The commercials on the Video Production and Weddings pages are sharp.
