Hello i'm new to EX and i don't know if anyone has asked this question if one exist please link me to it please.

I've been using canon and now i sold most of it and just keep my A1s and the HV40 to save money and getting the EX3. I have a few questions

If im going to use all 3 of that Canon cameras which Preset will i use to closely match the EX3. I know the HV40 are very litmited so is fine if it can't but the A1s i think we could right.

How do i edit in Final Cut Pro because of HDV and XDCAM which HDV from Canon Are 1440x1080 and XDCAM are 1920 i'm not asking to 100percent match just close enought to call good that plain eyes cant really tell.

My plan was to have the EX3 for bigger job and while sometime if i have to take up a wedding shoot i'm able to use all my camera just incase and i want to know if this is playable

As far as I know one of the best things about FCP is the multi format editing, allowing all sorts of different things in the same timeline, so should be no problem at all.
