I'm using the Manhattan HD109A (10.9") HD monitor with my full rig (EX1 with Letus & 35mm llens, RR mattebox) on the tripod, and am quite satisfied.

However, I also need a smaller one for my RR shouldermount setup, so am considering either their 7.1 or 8.9" ones. Anyone using them? Looking at the pics attached (I have my current 10.9" monitor on it to give you an idea of scale) - would you say they 8.9" (e.g. HD8900) will be OK, or do I need to go for the even smaller one (e.g. the HD071A)?

As you can see, I'm also using the Hoodman loupe on the camera's own LCD; whenever peaking or zebra check is necessary, I can use it - but due to it being quite high, it's impossible to be used for a prolonged period of time; hence the need of a monitor.

Comments welcome :)

Hi Piotr. Did you ever decide on the Manhattan 8900? I am leaning towards the 8900 for my EX1 but could use some advice. FYI, I will most likely use the 8900 as a teleprompter and also use a 17-24" LCD for client monitoring.

Thanks

Hi Steve

Actually no, I never got another Manhattan monitor. I decided to keep the large 10.9", 1366x768 109A for my on-tripod setups, while when using my shoulder mount, I'm using the Marshall 70P model.
