I have just noticed on the B&H site they have a Sony PHU-120K Professional Hard Disk Recording Unit (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/631390-REG/Sony_PHU120K_PHU_120K_Professional_Hard_Disk.html), to record 600 minutes (6 hours 40 minutes) in HQ, which works with both the EX1 and EX3. Priced at $919.95+shipping. This is the first time I noticed it, so I am not sure whether it is something new, or something I never noticed before.
In the past I looked at their PHU-60K and read so many bad reviews about it, I quickly decided not to even consider it. But I am wondering if this 120K version is solid and worth buying for my new EX3, which I should get in about a week or so (it is ordered already but since I am paying with a debit card with a daily limit, it takes about a week to pay for in full).
So, has anyone used the PHU-120K and if so, did it cause any problems or did it work properly?
