Is there a short sample of I frame footage out there? I'd like to play around with some.

Dear Perrone,

I checked our website and could not find one.

I will request that we add some I-Frame samples to our website.

Getting ready to shoot some I-Frame 220Mbps test on a flight and would be happy to post some results. With the current weather in New England the flight will not be until early next week.

Dear Paul,

Thanks, that would be nice.

We are also working to get some I-Frame Only files up on our server.

Happy to help you out Dan,

We have a flight next week that will have some nice Fall foliage. I will post a short sample for you on my Exposure Room page so you can see if you like it first.

I plan to test I-Frame 220 on take off and landing and a few wide angle shots. The rest of my paid gig will be in long GOP 100. How long would you like the clips?

Hi Paul-
Be sure to use a fast Compact Flash card, like the SanDisk Extreme IV.

Some short clips, may 10-15 seconds would be ideal.

Will do Mike,

I have one SanDisk Extreme IV 16GB 45MB/s card.

Will need more Extreme IV cards since my other 12 cards are the Extreme III 32GB.

Do you sell cards? If not where do you recommend?

Hi Paul-
We just posted (to our website) a quick 220 Mbps I-Frame test file. Nothing pretty, but good for testing basic playback functionality. So we are looking forward to your footage!

We don't sell the CF cards, but check with B&H, as they seem to carry most SanDisk cards.

Ok I will check with B&H.

Any setting I should be aware of besides what is in the manual?

I will shoot 1080p 30p at 220Mbps I-frame.

Mike,

Do the Sandisk Extreme 60MBs 32GB cards work with I-Frame?

Mike,

Do the Sandisk Extreme 60MBs 32GB cards work with I-Frame?

Hi Paul-
Yes, they are qualified for 160 Mbps now (I-Frame or Long-GOP), but will go to 220 Mbps with the next nano/XDR release, due at the end of this month.
